so after a suggestion was made on this thread I decided that I would look for a way to make one myself and I did. I first released the toolbar to download on that thread, but I decided to make an official thread for the unofficial toolbar in this section since it seemed like the most appropriate place to place the thread. If you want a preview of the toolbar it is shown on the page where you can download it, and the features it has are two RSS readers for the new games and armor blog, links to each section of the community, links to useful guides in the forums, links to all the popular games, a search engine with preferences to Armor Games(it still needs improvement) as well as a simple link to the home page. Hope you guys like.

Well, sorry to post here...Again!

But, I was thinking maybe 2 more links? I know these can be manually added but, still, it would fill the emptiness of the toolbar out.

A link to the newest posted in thread if possible and a link to the main community page.

That I can do. I will make the menu icon for the community into the link since I forgot to do that before. I originally had it set up like that, but then it glitched and I had to redo it.

Do you think you could have a different background think for the aG logo, because it's sort of distracting having a black box mixed in with a bunch of grey.


If I can find the time I will take the logo to photoshop and cut out the background making it transparent. It should update in real time so you shouldn't have to worry about downloading it again or anything.

OK a couple of quick updates since I last posted less then 10 minutes ago. First off the community menu button is now a link to the main community forums page, and second I did find a way to make DDX's search the official search engine for the toolbar, but unfortunately I could not do so because of some legal publishers agreement thing so it is confirmed that it is not possible mainly because the engine he made is ran using Google, and whatever. So apparently that is not going to happen. I do have other plans though concerning what I can do with it. First I am going to go ahead and get the OK from DDX to do so.

Also another update I finally got the community search to work. Just click on the small arrow right next to my logo on the search bar and it will show a list. From there select the Armor Games Search that has an icon of a nuclear explosion(which will be changed eventually to something more suitable) and in between all the sponsored links will be nothing but links to Armor Games.

Alright one more update, and probably the last one I may make. I just added a section called other links that includes all the other parts of the site you may want to use, including the ones at the bottom of the page that I found useful.

well for me personally when I update the toolbar on the site, it updates it on my actual toolbar, but if the new features are not showing up, then I would suggest you try to redownload it. It should only take a matter of seconds if your computer is not too slow, and I know its a quadruple post, but I made sure to add something useful to each post.

Alright I really need to keep up with this thread more. I thought it died, but it seems it got revived by Manta yesterday and then died again. I will go ahead and reply to some of the things said on this thread since I last posted(not much really)

Yeah someone suggested it on the Support and Suggestion Forum and so I thought about it grabbed up Google found a nice toolbar making program and this is the end result.
