When Im doing my clean up, I can find a way to delete all of the ones I want. There are check boxes but when I click on the ones I want and click on the trash can next to a comment, It only deletes that comment, help :3
To my knowledge you can't delete multiple comments. It'll be a hassle to delete them all yourself, or if there are comments in particular you want deleted, I can mass delete them for you.
A way to delete comments faster than just clicking and deleting one at a time is to click tab on the trashcan. It wont show as deleted because the page hasn't refreshed, but it did delete. So I what I do is just go through hitting tab on the trashcan for each comment, it double, oven tripled the rate I deleted comments on my messenger. Tabbing them is done differently between a laptop and computer, and sometimes depending on how old your internet browser is, I cant be done at all. But with a mouse you can hit the spinny wheel in the middle on the trash can and it *should* tab delete the comment. It you don't have a mouse, but you have a laptop, there should be two buttons in place of left click and right click, just hit the right click button and go down to open link in new tab, click that, and it will delete the comment.
Keep in mind that doing this will keep you on your messenger, and it will not appear as though the comment was deleted. But hit refresh and you will see that it did. It will also open a new tab, so you will most likely have to exit out of the browser after you deleted the comments you wanted to, but that is only if it is more than ten comments and you don't feel like exiting out of the tabs individually.
Cholo: That is excatly what I did when I was waiting fora reply. Just click the mouse wheel, well thats what you do for my computer. It deletes them after you click on the trash can and it doesnt show the Are you sure? message.
Well it works for me. If you're deleting it from your front five it tends to take a while, but anything after those recent 5 comments should delete instantly. I just checked to make sure I wasn't going insane, and it did work for me. The front 5 do delete, they just remain on your about page, which is a glitch, and get fully removed after someone posts another comment to update your messenger. Hope that answers anything you had trouble with.
You go to veiw all comments then there should be little checkmark boxes and I think you know where I'm going.
That doesn't work. I've tried doing that numerous times, but never has it succeeded. I asked a couple mods as to what they did, one never noticed them before and the other didn't know what it was. I suppose it could have been a project in the past. But I wish that they would have a delete all selector, or one to delete the comment with checks in them. It would be awesome. Deleted one page of comments alone on my messenger kills me. D:
