Actually, monkeys can talk. They chitter chatter in their own language. We just can't understand them.

Depending on your definition of talking.... Kanzi was a bonobo trained to use a lexigram which allowed her to communicate with her trainers.

I think it would be something from Monkey Island...

Well then, The monkeys would be the 2nd smartest species in the world...

We could hear their gossip stories
Monkey 1: Joe the monkey has left his wife!

Monkey wife: You stole my husband!
Monkey 1: I did not, you lost him!
*They start screaming and fighting like monkeys*

Exactly goumas. We could also understand what the hell they mean when they scream like crazy.
