I say Halo: Combat Evolved aka halo 1. It's a classic that brought the Xbox into the gamers households. Also, people are still making clans and playing online in Halo: Combat Evolved (I'm one of those people) :P
Halo 1, all of the following Halo's just fail hard. Inconsistent story line being that the guns change and are dropped or brought back. The game play is all the same, mindless killing and little thinking required
I say halo in general... has a weak story line, I played the 3rd one and had no idea what was going on throughout the entire game. All I remember doing is shooting stuff and meleeing stuff.
HALO COMBAT EVOLVED (1) ALL THE WAY!!!! its a lot better than 2 or 3! its campaign is a trillion times better plus i really love the health bars. halo 3... all that has is infection and forge nothing else... halo 2... lots of awesome glitches and u can start to destroy vehicles... thats all it has. oh and the scarab gun =]
As far as i am concered Halo Combat Evolved was a game that made lots of people to concider it as the best game ever made...not only the plot but the gameplay(although enhanced in 2 and 3) and especially the music....oh that music....finally the flood was much better in combat evolved!!!Can't speek of the flood music!!!!!
if ur talking online halo 3 by far but if ur talking campian deffintly Halo. The storyline and levels were amazing. The storyline in halo 2&3 was good but bungie kinda made it for online play and didnt do as good a job on the levels
Halo 1 was the best, a group of my friends would get together at least once a week and play it. It set the standards for the rest of the FPS. Also Halo 3 sucked, it was just a upgraded Halo 2. It did not feel any different and i got burnt out on playing halo 2 for 2 years playing all the time. So when Halo 3 came out i was siked and then when i played it felt the same. Only played Halo 3 for like less then 6 months.
