Digimon cause they can speak something other then their name and they can fuse with each other and even fuse with the Digi Destined. SO many knick-knacks in Digi-mon like the Crests, Digi-vices, Cards, etc.

both are relatively childish, but pokemon rpg's are pretty deep. digimon games just suck. so the pokes win, imo.

here maybe this will help:

tv shows: bantha fodder (both franchises)

trading cards: expensive and useless (both franchises)

figures/toys: expensive and childish (both franchises)

games: digi games--suck; pkmn games--not bad

pokes still win, imo
