Avenged Sevenfold.
I mean, Metallica's cool, but I only like some of their songs. I like all of A7X's songs. Plus, no offense(Metallica has great musicians)but Avenged Sevenfold has a better drummer and lead guitarist.

Dude that way to hard to compare two different types of musics.

I absolutely hate avenged sevenfold, they simply are some kind of emo, screamo, mix-up. Metallica is freaking amazing. =P and for a final argument, who got a guitar hero made for them, ya that's what i thought.

Metallica FTW BABY. Metallica is FRIGGEN AWESOME. And they have there own Guitar Hero.

Metallica, no doubt about it. ITS METALLICA!!! Nothing else is needed for these metal gods even though they sold out at one point.

Naaaahhh.Avenged Sevenfold is better. Metallica most of their songs sound the same; they are good, but avenged sevenfold is better. Weird comparison though, 'cause they are pretty different

I would have to say Metallica. Don't get me wrong, avenged sevenfold is good and I like listening to them and everything, but Metallica is just plain classic.

Depends on the music you like, Metallica to me is 3980273450982734509827345x better than A7X. Metallica will be better in every way except for their songs because that is based on your opinion.
