So I'm playing starcom and I finished the frontlines mission (which reminds me of stargate but that's irrelevant). Well I'm stuck now because it appears there was something important in the last dialog which I skipped through. Can someone inform me how to start the next mission since I can't figure it out (or it could be a glitch . . . either way I would much rather not start over)
i believe i have the same problem as you do. when i start the mission "frontlines". i jump to "alpha hydra,there i receive the same message from "Prometheus", and then enemy attacked me, and i didn't read. after that i kicked their ships and jump to "Prometheus" to kicked several destroyers. right now seems to me all enemies in that sector are destroyed. and I'm confused because the mission log says I'm not done yet. I know that Prometheus reactor systems damaged. and i don't know what to do? comeback to base or try to fix Prometheus. also i picked up beacon that tel me to go to certain coordinates where i find wormhole to another solar system which has heavy guard
I actually restarted . . . I finished it in 20 minutes or so ^_^
The mission is slightly bugged I think. I'm fairly sure I picked up the thing that the station dropped only for it to not be a transponder (which it was in the last mission). Well . . . either that or I left without picking it up which is unlikely since I pick everything I see up (and it gets erased when you leave the system), but it doesn't matter now.
Anyway I recommend that you just restart, its not that long and easier the second time through. Though, if you didn't go to the second planet in the system, there is a sentinel there.
guys the transponder is your key to the next mishion you have to go to the warp in the home system with the base and then go to the cordinates your in the wrong system most likely
