This is a twist from those normal "your the main character and you do all the battles and adventuring RPGs". In this RPG, you are the commander of an army. You make decisions for your army to fight. You send troops into battle. You organize artillery. Interested?

Tactician - you are very tactical, engrossing over plans and maps before sending your troops into battle. -25% ambush chance from enemy soldiers.
Ruthless - You strive forward and forward, not giving in an inch. +10% damage to soldiers and yourself in battle

More troops can be unlocked as your commander level goes up and can be bought with money. More perks, weapons, armor, and stats can also be obtained and upgraded later on.
This game is not a go-together in the same world game, you are in totally different universes and will seldom interact.
