Screamo sucks. Badly. Screaming and growling and telling is completely useless. I have met people who get that and REAL Heavy Metal confused, when they're nowhere near similar. I have a feeling that's where people get bad impressions. . . .

Real heavy metal-as in massive guitar parts, slow, winding tempos, and a vocalist who lets his words out slowly and clearly?
actually no aggression. heavy metal is a category pretty much actually. Because screamo is considered Heavy Metal or Hardcore can be even emo and it's just screamo. and please guys stop talking in here. comment eachothers profiles.. please. Thank you (:

There are two types of heavy metal. Heavy Metal, and real Heavy Metal. And no screamo is not heavy metal. It meets none of the prerequisites. And neither is hardcore. Or punk. None of that. There is death metal, which is the closest thing in Heavy Metal to screamo.
Screamo is definitely NOT Meatal. At least you can understand them when they scream in Metal. Other than Rap, Screamo is the worst kind of music out there.
No offence to you, but I really think Screamo sucks. Real bad. It is just what it sounds like it would be. SCREAMING. I like all music of all genres, as long as it is good. And this is not. I really have to draw the line there between music and noise... :/

I'll just assume that by "real Heavy Metal" you mean heavy metal and all it's glorious subgenres (Doom, thrash, black, death, gothic, etc.)
But to answer the OP's question. No, not a fan of screamo. I don't like actual screamo and I don't don't like the music today that is commonly confused as screamo, like the list you posted.
