I was wondering if you (admins and staff) could make a weekly armatar contest that a winner was picked as the person who makes the best armatar. It could go under the 1 AP section and would not necessarily need to be permanent. It would allow a greater increase of creativity and allow people to express themselves and be able to use that expression as their armatar.
I so know this is going to get locked because it 'can't be done' or was a 'repeat thread'. . . .

Well, you can express yourself like that in the ASC, which is weekly. It isn't really quite necessary to have a competition weekly for Armatars. In the future I suppose that it might be able to be done, but with Carlie being so busy lately, it would be almost impossible. She is the only one that can add Armatars. Well, the other admins can, but they don't use the forums, they handle the site in other ways. Bust some cons are -After a while, too many will start to build up, taking up space, and just making things ook off -The same people will win every time due to not everyone being good at art. and last -Carlie is busy, and she probably doesn't have time to babysit a thread weekly year round to make sure it stays on track
So as of right now, I doubt this will happen. But there is always the possibility.

Cholokid, I never said it had to be permanent. Also, mods could monitor it, seeing as some of them don't really have lives outside of AG. Carlie would only have to be told when a winner is selected and then posts it. They could only have four at a time up there as well. So it stays up for a month, and then is taken down. And they can put a limit on how much you win. I.e. no more than twice.

Dang it! anyway everyone is busy. Carlie is working on the glitches, Strop is busy with WoM, and Zophia has been cleaning up the community. Deviodless is been so and so lately. Besides that everyone is inactive.
Well, since most of the former armatar contests have been running for some time, a weekly one seems like an odd idea, as most themes are rather broad (summer, anyone?). There is plenty of creative contests these days, the art skill comp, the poetry comp, short story comp, draw that (fake) pokemon, and plenty of others, both written and drawn, even for music and videos, though they are harder to find.
If you want to "Express yourself and use that expression as an armatar" (sounds like you want it to be permanent, though), it is just to make an armatar fitting the theme of the contest (not that hard), or get someone else to do it, and then use it, and at the end of the contest/start of the new ask for a new one. That way you get an almost custom armatar, as well as it changes with the seasons/events.

Thats just insulting, No need to do that lol, anyway i think that its a good idea for people to have there own armatar rather than that of one preset. but i have no athority on that kinda thing here, so i guess a contest is the fairest idea.

Maybe, but have them 4 times a year, 1 for each season.
