I'm not asking who would win if the Canadian military and king henry's army battle'd againts eachother, I'm asking what you think type of game is better in video game material, modern or medival?
I think modern games are better. There are more weapons and tactics that can be used in a modern game, but, like nathan said...a beating handicapped kids with a flail is fun =)
It really depends. Sometimes I'm in a Dungeon Crawl swords and magic kind of mood, other times I want to be in some sort of war with a gun and armor and etc etc. I think the best type is futuristic, cuz you can use hi-techy swords and still use guns/armors etc. But I can't really decide between modern and medieval.
Unless it was just called something like "First Person Swordsman, lol or something like that, but yeah, imagine a Fps archer only, it would be awesome. One with good graphics. E-P-I-C
Oh, yeah! Though I still find some problems with an archer FPS games since you can't shoot bows as easily, or quickly as guns. That changes gameplay mechanics. Hopefully, someone (if anyone) can make an archer FPS work.

I don't find beating handicapped kids with a flail to be fun. They're kids and they are handicapped. Though I would happily beat up any fool in my way, even a dog.
Hmm.. Oblivion or Fallout 3..? think i have to go for modern because surviving is much harder! compared to medival, in medival you have a good sword in the beginning of the game and you PWN everyone because you are just better. with modern you have ammo, no ammo no shooting..
