Alright, I noticed a lot of people complaining that Drunken Masters was way too hard for them. It's not really that hard, it's just a matter of keeping people happy. In this guide I'll give you a few tips on makin' drinks and gettin' tips.

First thing I'd like to say is if you have slow reflexes, this game will NOT be your best friend. Go play pong for a while and hone those gaming skills! I'm not ashamed to admit I did it. This game will require your FULL concentration and you MUST be able to quickly be able to pick something out.

Okay, now onto the fun part - bartending.
It's understandable not to know exactly how to make all the drinks in this game. But just click the name of the drink and it'll have all the ingredients listed, and even give you an arrow to the glass you need. If you're not quite sure which bottle to grab, click the ingredient and it'll tell you. However, once you start playing the game you'll start recognizing the bottles instantly and even memorizing the drinks themselves.
Next thing to remember: Combos, combos, combos! Build up the biggest combos you can and DON'T LET THEM BREAK! Easiest way to charge up your signature meter is simply to flip the bottle against the right or left wall, catch it, lather, rinse, repeat. If you want to go REALLY fancy, you can grab the ice, throw it up with a LITTLE bit of force (IE just off the screen), flip out a cup, catch the ice, set down the cup, flip up the first bottle, do a handspin, start pouring, etcetera. Not only does it LOOK really neat but it also gets your customers' mood meters up and helps a bunch with your signature meter. Watch the meters under the customers - the lighter colors are what you have on the CURRENT COMBO and will be LOST if you break the combo. So don't drop any bottles!

Another thing you want to remember - DON'T ACCIDENTALLY DROP THE DRINK ON THE WRONG CUSTOMER. That will result in you losing one of your VIP cards, and at higher levels those can be worth a nice chunk of change.

Which character would I recommend? I prefer Johnny because he combines the ability to keep customers happy if you get flustered with some flipping ability. April's also good if you're a beginner, because her charisma helps keep the customers entertained.

It's on the second page... is bumping legal in this case? I dunno. Just to be safe, I'll put some actual content in here.

VS mode - just do what you'd do to get max combo points - throw the bottle against the wall repeatedly, balance, throw it up, catch it, handspin, etc. until you get about 400-500 points above their average score.

Damn , lol.
Im very addicted to the game , i was about to make a guide...
But now i see you've already done one :P.

Just a suggestion:
To get high points in combos , and entertain the customers , i recommend the Balance Transfer.
Just throw the bottle up while you are balancing , and grab it ...
I had an one million combo doing this , im not lying

^Superman Trifecta is my combo of choice. Cuz you can get it easy - just throw the ice straight up, wait until the counter hits 1, then toss the glass, throw up more ice while glass is in the air... I got a TON of points that way. But the actual tricks are in the guide, and you kind of have to develop your own favorites there.

By the way, I'd like to add that in order to actually win all the VS matches, you'll have to get some better tricks. Superman is really great simply because the combo meter WILL NOT RUN while ice is in the air. If you can pull off the frozen coast or (even better) the Sub-Zero, then do it.

Really fun game, thanks for the suggestions. I started playing, and it got a bit tough for me, but I think i'll go back to it and give ti another shot now.

Thanks Megamickel for that hint.
Got a lot more points than with the Balance Transfer.
Thanks again

Very helpful guide! This can save people new to the game quite a bit, and will hopefully get more people interested in playing! Once again, great guide!

Has anybody besides myself been able to pull off the "Sub Zero"? I'm just curious. My combo of choice is the flip. You can rack up huge amounts of points by throwing a glass and continuously hitting it into the air by hand spinning a bottle.

I did like three sub zeros total when I was testing. They're pretty tough.

My personal choice for a longass combo is a nice balance. Once you have Assist, they make versus matches cake. Just start balancing a bottle and wait until you have a nice score; then put it down. It's that simple.

Also, my suggestion to make things just a liiiittle easier on yourself is the high pour. Easy way to get a cheap 100 points here and there.

It's kind of disturbing how easily you start remembering the bottles. Garunteed after two shifts you'll be able to recall at least ten.

My combo of choice is the self-made Balance Flip. Easy to do:
Grab a large bottle, balance it, then quickly snap your mouse left/right and make sure the bottle flies up. (For the hardcores: Can you even add a balance transfer to it?) I got a 20-Flip-Combo worth 5k points that way. However, I simply can't do a Sub-Zero. But probably a Reptile or a Scorpion ;D

@asasa A frozen coast is when you bump a cup off the wall and catch 1 or 2 ice, a Sub-Zero is when you bump it off and catch all of the ice, just make sure you use the right glasses. And also you HAVE to catch the cup in mid-air or else the frozen coast/Subzero doesn't count. @All A great move to do if your running out of combo time is keep spinning bottles and if you have a glass that needs a garnish just toss the garnish up in the air and catch it with the glass. Just insure that you don't put it on the wrong one.
