It's not the best game ever, but it is certainly fun. The weapons are cool and the post-nuclear war idea was creative. I also like the gore in the game.

The new one came out, it looks amazing but i saw a cheat for it on g4. But it's a cool game, can't wait to get it, if i can :/

I was actually looking for a thread like this one. I have enough money to get it, and I've heard great things about it, but it costs $55 Used at Game Stop. I just think that $55 is alot for a game that's been out for about a year.

The game's amazing, but it's a bit annoying that once you complete the final quest the game ends..

55$ isn't bad for it though, just trade in some of your old games.

Best game ever? No.

Very good? Yes.

And Samy - if you wind up buying one of the DLC content packs (I think Broken Steel?) the game doesn't end after the main plot finishes.

Fallout 3 is a very inventive game and is a well put together RPG. I have played through it twice and have the first 2 DLCs. I have also played Fallout 1, 2, and Tacics. That's right, Fallout 3 is NOT the 3rd fallout game, it is the 5th. But Fallout 3 is my favorite of the bunch. Back to th game, I love the karma system and the bonuses you get for being good, or evil. I also love the open world map; if i want to go to that big rock in the distence, I can. Also, the weapons are AWESOME! The MIRV and Firelance stand out to me because of their awesome firepower. Fallout 3 could posably be the best game in existence... could be.
P.S. Is there ever going to be a Fallout 4 or is Bethesda just going to release an endless stream of DLCs?

fallout 4 will release, not a direct sequel its gonna be developed by obsidian and is gonna be called fallout:new vegas..... sort of made me think of new reno in fallout 2

I bought the game because I had extremely high hopes for hearing it everywhere.

Man, was I disappointed. The game seemed like an exact remake of KotOR.

I am with darksilent,I think it is the greatest game in the world!It has a really,well planned out story.It is awesome.I have the expansion pack which has THE PITT and Operation Anchorage.THE PITT is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Operation Anchorage is located in Anchorage, Alaska.Yeah,I think its the greatest game in the world!So if your looking for a game that is action packed,gorey,do what ever you want type of game,this is the kind of game

Fall out 3 was fun, short storyline, and the only thing that really pissed me off was not being able to free roam after you complete the main story

its a great game. oh and if u download/buy the Broken Steel DLC add-on than when u beat the game it doesnt end! it continues! the alien blaster is pwnage!

i recommend fallout.wikia.com. it as everything! it tells u where to find everything and what everything does! but i would only recommend it if ur cheapm and u cant find it on ur own

It was definitely my fav game for a while, but there's a shortage in the variety of weapons that got boring.
