I think you should be able to upload your own armatars if you don't like any of the other ones.
There are armatar making contests in the Art section of the forums. If you submit an armatar, there's a chance the Armor Games staff will make it. You do have to make an armatar that fits with the theme of the contest.
Problems with that: Explicit imagesIt would break the theme of the siteWould cause flame wars (if someone put a rude picture of -insert controversial person/topic here-)I get to know people by their armatar, and if we were allowed to do that people would change it much more often
