*This is not politically oriented. I think that this is a good idea.

I got this idea. Here's the template:

Name: (First, Middle, Last, Any generational Number (Sr.; Jr; I; II; III; IV; Etc.)
Level: Town Council
Town: (Choose any town. Population Below 200,000.)
State: Any state. Certain states will have an effect on elections.
Position: Candidate
Election Status: Current
Electoral Position: (Choose: Treasurer; Council Member; Sheriff)
Party: (Republican; Democrat; Independent)
Ideology: (Liberal; Moderate Liberal; Moderate Conservative; Conservative; Independent)
Money: $1,000
Staff: 10
Charisma: 10
Corruption: 0
Misc. Info: (Include what you're aiming at, who you're aiming at, etc. At least 3 sentences.)

I will create your story as you progress. I will start with three people, and progress from there. You don't require much knowledge of politics, as this will be very simplified. Your charisma and corruption points will increase and decrease depending on your decisions. They will always equal 10. You will hire staff, and they will cost money. Money is granted or stolen.

We shall be started!

Everyone: The year is 2010. President Barack Obama is president. He has instituted the government stimulus package and our economy is slowly getting on its feet. The expected year the economy will come back fully is 2020. Hopefully in that tie period one or all of you may make it to the senate, maybe even the White House!

Ideology: Conservative

Misc. Info: I wish to stop all poverty and make us bloom financially. I also wish to stop animal cruelty and child abuse.

Laredo county as always been plagued with drugs, gangs and violence. Animal and child abuse is rampant, and you have vowed to stop these things. This is what the voters want to see. You become the favorite of the media, even though there are many other council members getting elected. You have $1,000 to use. You can

A) Use your staff to put up a fundraiser, potentially netting you thousands. Options are
A. Schools.
B. Community center.
C. Homeless shelters.
B) Use your staff to make posters for the upcoming primaries.
C) Use backdoor business threats to net money.

Misc. Info: Aiming to decrease gang violence and illegal immigrant percentage.

Bastrop is a small town, generally peaceful and brimming with local life. However, several of the businesses have used backdoor dealings and hired heavily underpaid illegal immigrants. Also, there are several medium sized gangs that need to be dealt with, as they are causing the drug market to become larger with each passing month.

B. Community center.

C) Talk to the local residents, asking them if there is anything crime-wise they could need. This would gain favor among the population.

Misc. Info: I want to make the death penalty legal in all states in cases of murder. Law enforcement should get more funding. And cruelty of any kind(including emotional abuse) will be made illegal. And jails will not be furnished like hotels. The money will go to more lucrative things.

Santa Barbara is a pleasant, relatively high end town to live in. However, due its close proximity to LA it has a heavy gang population. You have vowed to use money for more useful purposes such as for heavier law enforcement. However, human rights activists will most likely protest where you are getting the money. As most people know, human rights organizations don't like it when criminals don't get luxury treatment. You can count their vote out (-10,000 votes). You can

C. Homeless shelters.

You promise an active response and you get an automatic 750 votes. You will require at least 3,500 votes to win. Your opponent used the same option but didn't net any votes. You currently have the lead! You can

A) Make poster's using your new possible slogan.
B) Try to give a public speech telling the people why you would make a good sheriff. (High risk, high return. 60/40 chance of failure but guarantee 2,000 votes.)

You use your staff to make posters explaining why you would make a good council member. Also, the media's coverage has given you 1,200 votes! The posters get you a further 2,000 votes. (-$2,500) You can

A) Set up a public fundraiser.
