By several catastrophes are you referring to the flood? That was the one and only major catastrophe, it covered the whole world. And God only did the great flood because people's sin had grown to the point where it was dispickable. God does not enjoy death. He even said, he will never again flood the whole earth again. and he has not.
So, if -for example- I have an inoperable cancer and no chance of recovering, and, eventually, die, that's a challenge I must "complete".

First of all, you don't have to go through any challenged to make it to heaven, or to prove your worth to get to heaven. The challenges and pains you go through are simple tools to help you grow and learn. After you accept God as your guide and lord, then you are going to heaven. The pains are not challenges, but ways to make you grow spiritually.

Ok, I feel like we are getting a little off topic here. Listen, you can't judge all Christians just because some idiots are doing these things. they are not correct and they are sinful and wrong. As humans, all humans make mistakes and need to repent. And the GOOD churches do care about these things. The church i am going to right now is actually doing something about these things.

The Bible does talk about swearing. and not let fowl words come out of your mouth. They are there. And, because swearing has been given a bad association in the world today, it is naturally not the best path to take if you are wanted to profess your beliefs.

There are miracles happening, you just don't see them. miracles that are hidden and amazing, you just have to look. And yes, there are less amazing eye popping miracles happening right before your eyes now a days. but they are there, you just have to look and pray. Pray, God wants us to Pray...

The kids had sex with each other or the parents had sex with each other.
