= Armour Points =
When you have just joined and you take your first look at your shiny new profile you'll probably notice a dark grey board which will say how many "Armour Points" you have, which at the time, will probably be a big fat zero! Armour Points are a way of rewarding players for socializing on the Armour Games website. You can get points for five different things, rating games, commenting on games, posting on the armor games forums, submitting games and receiving "Merits". Once you get enough Armour Points you will "rank up". The first "rank up" you will get will be when you get one Armour Point, which will then "rank you up" to a "Wooden" Serf.

= Merits =
Merits are sort of a way of the Armour Games "moderators" to say "thanks" for doing such things as writing detailed reviews on games which could help other players to get a feel of what this game is like before playing it, (you never know, a detailed review of a bad game could be saving you from several years of trauma from a terrible game!) you can also get merits for simple things like always being well-mannered, being helpful to other members, (especially new ones} and being a good spell-checker! But the one golden rule about merits is..... Never ask for a merit!!! If you do ask for a merit, the chances of receiving are very low!

= The Ranking System =
When you receive certain amounts of Armour points, you will be "ranked up". Each rank has a wooden, iron, and golden sub-rank. With every new rank come a shiny new set of armatars! Also, some ranks differ depending on have your gender, as the smart people who have developed armor games have made such ranks like King and Lord only eligible to males ad ranks like Queen and Lady only eligible to females! Here is a list of all the ranks followed by the amount of points needed to obtain them.....

Wood Serf: 10 AP
Silver Serf: 25 AP
Gold Serf: 100 AP

Wood Squire: 225 AP
Silver Squire: 400 AP
Gold Squire: 625 AP

Wood Knight: 1200 AP
Silver Knight: 1750 AP
Gold Knight: 2250 AP

Wood Lord/Lady: 3000 AP
Silver Lord/Lady: 3500 AP
Gold Lord/Lady: 4000 AP

Wood Duke/Duchess: 4500 AP
Silver Duke/Duchess: 5200 AP
Gold Duke/Duchess: 6000 AP

Wood Prince/Princess: 7250 AP
Silver Prince/Princess: 8500 AP
Gold Prince/Princess: 10000 AP

<-- Failed! It's Armor Points! Not Armour Points!

In the UK and Ireland, Armour is spelt with a u, but I can see your point

It DOESN'T matter whether its silver or iron, it can be both!!!
Except officially it is actually iron.

you can also get merits for simple things like always being well-mannered, being helpful to other members, (especially new ones} and being a good spell-checker!
This is not true. False information is false.

Merits are for good game reviews and winning contests only.

Aside from that, good guide. Ish. Not really necessary, though, as you posted it in the wrong forum (should have been in Newcomers), and all the information is already available elsewhere.

So I'm gonna lock this, but thumbs up for your attempt.
