well yea, their all similar scenarios if you look at it.
family guy...
husband wife 3 kids a dog
5 things.
simpsons
husband wife 2 kids cat dog
5 things again..
now american dad is a bit different.
husband wife 2 kids fish alien
6 characters but essetially the same scenario.
in all of the above the dads are stupid... one kid is a nerd/loser one kid is pretty mischief making, one character is evil, (in the simpsons i think the cat is evil) and they all have at least one pet.
now IN YOUR opinion, which one rules all the others?
Family Guy is the best for me since it's very funny, and each episode is a new and hysterical story. Simpson's wins in second.. just because it's been on the air for a very long time, but they're jokes are still funny. American Dad fails.. Lol
Simpson was fun (and is still), but it kinda got old...So Family Guy would be first because it actually made me laugh. And then American Dad, because its still a great show. But all 3 of them are almost the same thing, and they are all great...so yea...
The Simpsons is a long running classic, which most people have seen. Family guy is funny to some people but the excessive crude humor turns people off. Like you said American Dad is like the others but loosely strung along.
@dacer's original post; true but each one has a level of funniness aswell as a sort of fit for viewer rating. Where simpsons is more for families and maybe American Dad, but Family Guy is for the teens and older people. Not for young children
