well yea, their all similar scenarios if you look at it.
family guy...
husband wife 3 kids a dog
5 things.
simpsons
husband wife 2 kids cat dog
5 things again..
now american dad is a bit different.
husband wife 2 kids fish alien
6 characters but essetially the same scenario.
in all of the above the dads are stupid... one kid is a nerd/loser one kid is pretty mischief making, one character is evil, (in the simpsons i think the cat is evil) and they all have at least one pet.
now IN YOUR opinion, which one rules all the others?
i think the simpsons is the best and it has survived the test of time but here is the thing it has survived because they have had steady rateings below #1. Family Guy may have been number 1 but i think its are going to fall soon and American Dad is going to take over.
The Simpsons. It's classic, and still funny like it has been for years. Family Guy and American Dad are a little too disturbing. Not that The Simpsons isn't disturbing, but that it's not overly disturbing. I do like to watch Family Guy and American Dad. XD
Sorry.. Family Guy was great, but was like a fuse. Burned bright for the time there was new material, but when the 'geniuses' ran out of ideas, it was like meeting the end of their fuse. Just died out.
American Dad was cute, solid, and had a semi-good run, but was just waving it's arms in the shadow of Family Guy, seeking attention.
Simpsons has been going strong for so many years, the writers would have to be nothing less than geniuses.
