I agree... It shows people care, but that they just have no input...
People in here are lazy. If they have to think when they read your OP or if they have to think when they type, they decide they won't do either one. Many people will agree that the less people have to read and think, the more they will post. Sadly, these same people will probably not find a problem with that.
Forum posts should be stronger and people should be willing to think. It would really improve the forums a lot!
Sorry, when I made the quote, I forgot to explain that it does not mean that people care. It just means that people were attracted enough to click the title of your thread.
Most of the time, they don't know what to post because they were too lazy to read the OP or because they are too lazy to type a full lengthy reply. Most people have opinions and are not afraid to post them.
Also, 80 replies to a thread is a lot! If you have 100 replies and 1000 views, that means 1 out of every 10 people who click the title responded. Also, many people will go back and fourth into the thread to see if anybody replied to their post. 1000 views does not mean 1000 people.
A lot of threads have dedicated posters, or users who post in the thread as if it was their own specail club house (mostly in game/voting threads, spam threads, and club threads). If you have a normal thread that has no dedicated posters, 80 replies is very good number. If you think 80 is low, then you are probably a dedicated poster to a few threads yourself. I pulled the term "dedicated poster" from another forum I was once a part of.

A majority of threads have more views than posts. Most people don't want to say what they think. They just want to see what you think.
The threads that i view i usually post on. Like once i had a thread in suggestions and i had like 15 replies or so (because it got locked when i solved my problem) and it had alot of views. I agree that people are too lazy to post or don't have any input to the matter.
It doesn't seem to be all annoying... Even if people don't post it means that they actually READ it. But if it's an RPG game with no players but 1000 views... Then you have the rights to get angry.
