I hate looking through the posts to find a good idea, only to find out that the post is illegitimate and and doesn't really follow the topic thread. People need to understand to relate to the thread, and to do it with correct grammar, even if they are relating to the thread.
This is in itself a rather spam-like thread, because it doesn't pose any real question. You should probably have put this in someone else's thread. But now that you've done it, I say that I always use correct grammar and spelling in my posts(minus some Internet Lingo of course). But you are on the internet dude. Do you really expect people not to abbreviate or to use correct grammar and spelling? Because you'll be very hard-pressed. And yes people need to relate to the thread. If what they say is completely(COMPLETELY, mind you)unrelated to the subject, like if your thread is about Spelling Bees and they say something like "I like bananas", then they are spamming and you should flag their comment. I hope this comment helps you.
Oh. He said illegitimate though, so I guess he means like so illegitimate you can't read it? Or something like that? But really, this thread doesn't belong here. Maybe in the Tavern or in the Support and Suggestions section if you're going to turn it into a Grammar Guide(like firetail suggested)
Yeah, you're right irony. But he has a valid subject, just has the wrong name for it. @bobafett: Ask a mod to lock this thread, then recreate it with a more fitting name and in a better forum, as this doesn't really belong in this forum, not in my opinion at least.
