Okay, I want to ask this... why is rap music so popular? I am a personal death-metal fan, but for good reason. I've played some of the death metal songs on guitar hero and rock band, and shit they're hard! even the vocals! Death-metal songs show a band's talent to hit a large number of notes in succession and make it sound...good? Well? I'm not sure how the grammar goes there...anyway
Rap Music is...horrible... to me. and I dont see how people can like it. Here's rap music in a nut shell (my description) Talking, with a beat. No musical talent No entertainment value And why is it always about hurting people and peddling drugs?
Now, please, dont flame me, and dont be a troll. place a reasonable argument, and i will happily reply.
I hate almost all rap. I like just about 1 rap song. Here it is. Fort Minor- Remember The Name http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEyWkOiVbHA If it doesn't turn into a link, just copy and paste into the address bar. And yea, that song swears. But I agree, I totally like harder music(although Cannibal Corpse is a little too metal for me). Rap doesn't take half the talent those songs do, and the musicians who play don't hardly even get any credit, it's just the rapper. However, let me say that it is much harder than it looks to write lyrics.
Yes, that's what kind of music I like. But man, don't just flame music like that. I mean, everyone's entitled to their opinion and their taste in music, but I don't really like much rap and agree that metal/harder stuff, takes much more skill. I mean, look at it. The musicians barely even get any credit, just the singer.
rap isnt that bad to be fair. i just find that when there talking abou the same things over and over again it gets rather boring the only rapper i can say i likie is eminem , not because i love the music but because i find the lyrics funny and entertaining in a comical way on some of his songs.
