I think it's a pretty good idea...but don't we have all the forums for chat? And it would probably make lag. Plus, we can just post links to other accounts on MSN or some other thing so people could chat with us. I vote no.

The forum is not for a chat or it would be big time spamming. Chat don't lag. Not much people go on the links, like mine , and not EVERYONE is going to look on your page to go on the chat.
I went to a great website for 2 years once... It was awesome. Until they implemented a chatbox. Some crazy stuff went on in there... Endless profanity (I don't mind it, but others do), Links to porn, racism & all kinds of other horrible stuff. The site went downhill from there.
Long story short: We had it, it was abused, it's not coming back.
Slightly longer: This suggestion keeps coming up, but it is extremely unlikely that it will be implemented again, simply because there was too many downsides. There is not enough mods to keep an eye on an official chat room. There's several unofficial ones, like this one, though. Use unofficial ones, tell your friends to use them too, spread the knowledge of them. Or use other off site communication tools.
AG is not responsible for the communication in those, which means the lack of moderating isn't an issue. So go chat somewhere else.
