Everyone! I think I'm seeing that a lower standard of games apearing. Has anyone else noticed the lower ratings? I played the higher games too and they aren't as good as older games with simalar ratings. Anyone?
I think there are just a lot more games recently, which means a lot will be bad. But I actually like where the games submitted on ArmorGames is going, unlike other sites.
I don't think that the quality of falling. If anything, I think it is just harder for people to give out high scores. There are just some developers out there who are able to do amazing things with Flash, pushing it to the brink of what the program would do. And people tend to base other games off of what they think the best is. So although a game might be very good, if it isn't their favorite, they might not give it a 10. It is all subjective. There have been some games that I really like, but they might only have a 4 or a 5. Why? Most likely because it didn't feature blood and gore ;-P You can pretty much guarantee that if you add blood and gore to a game, it will get a higher score.
The PLAYERS quality is falling! People that play 2 minutes a game like Were We Remain and ban it as an horrible game. There are games that require time to be understood and people usually don't "waste" their time on games that seems ugly.
Agree. Even though that game does have some annoying quarks, it is a lot better than a 4.4/10....
I also believe the quality is rising,just look at Balloon in a Wasteland and 4 differences. The only 'bad' game that I've played lately was Boton Voyage, but even it deserved a higher rating than what it has.
i haven't been on in awhile but i have to agree that the quality of games is falling. some of the newer games are reboots and copies of other games that have already been on here.

I stand by this, many people judge based on stupid things. I just read a few comments on lets say... Toxic Radd 3d - its probably the most revolutionary flash game I've ever played. The comments such as this one (not gonna state the name)
this game sucks balls i gettin sick of all the games that have zombies in them or reference black ops but for some reason ppl just keep playing even if it sucks
This user is full on uneducated in a genre that he barely knows any about, he is biased and probably rated the game a 2.5 or lower.
I personally rated the game a hearty 7, in fact I was one of the first comments there. Its another reason Youtube got rid of star ratings and put in a thumbs up/down, people are just not educated in the field to rate on such a large scale.
Never trust the ratings, you never can. To many people don't play the game and rate whatever their cursor reaches first be that a 0.5 or a 10. Play the game, then decide from there.
I never rate a game I haven't played. I couldn't give a crap about AG points or else I'd be a 'king' by now. It's a meaningless system and utterly irrelevant. If I play a game for longer than 10 minutes, I rate it. Simple as that.
Compared to NG or Kong, there are too much mentally incapable players in AG. This problem can also link to the problem that serious game comments are not treasured.
