Actually, I just watched MythBusters, and they said the flag moved because the astronauts were twisting the metal pole attached to the flag, which made the flag move a bit.
Yeah I think the moon landing was a hoax. It makes no sense to me. Why doesn't anyone wanna go there now? Russia has never been there because the probably know they can't land on it.
If it was a fake moon landing it would have been filmed in a studio. In a studio there would be no wind, they would need fans in order to create the effect of wind, but why if they were faking the moon landing would they want to fake the effect of wind?
Also, have you ever put anything into the ground and want it to stay there. You shove and twist, right? Well that's what the astronauts did. Except on the moon there is no atmospheric friction, so the flag would continue to move for a longer amount of time than it would on earth. It just retained movement from twisting the flag pole.
A thread to discuss conspiracy theories about the moon landing would be fine. A thread presenting itself as random facts about it is not, and will only cause a bunch of people to disagree.
