I have been listening to a lot of nirvana recently, and I am currently obsessed with them. My favourite songs are: In Bloom, Come as you are, Lithium, Smells like teen spirit. Nirvana are just amazing. Kurt Cobain was a genius, and it is very devastating about his death in 1994 Anyway, What does everyone here on AG think about Nirvana? P.S. I think that Dave Grohl (The Drummer) is genius too, he has been in 3 bands, he can sing, play guitar and drums!

I always thought Nirvana was good, but they are WAY overrated. Everybody goes on about how they're the "greatest band ever," but they're not quite worthy of that title. They're still really good.
Nirvana is great,but there is no way they're "the best band ever". That's preposterous,and only a hippie or stoner could reasonably say that. They are WAY overrated,but still a great band,and probably would of been the greatest band of the 90's if Cobain hadn't taken his own life. My favorite songs are Heart Shaped Box and Sliver .
I hate Nirvana. This is my opinion, so don't try and convince me that grunge music doesn't suck, because I'm not going to change my mind. But hey, this is true with most 90's bands, so don't think I'm just hating Nirvana...
Actually,Nirvana could be classified as alternative considering they were both a hard and mellow band. Their mellow songs just didn't get as much publicity.
