There are many factors in all the Mario Karts, so feel free to bring up your own...

Snaking

Snaking is doing a drift boost over and over again to get a constant speed boost... I don't do it unless I need to...

Hackers

Hackers can be a pain... They can knock you down before the race starts and teleport thruout the stage...

What do you guys do about these problems...

Well you cannot really do anything about it, just hope they dont do that. I love Mario Kart even know I dont play it anymore.

its a bit random with "mushrooms" that give u a boost

On mario kart DS, when u play it on the R4 card, there are lots of cheats you can use, like Always Have Item cheats or Have Trophy cheats or 3 Star Rank cheats and many more! Never tried them out on multiplayer or WiFi though.

I don't own any Mario Cart games, but I own Metroid Prime Hunters for DS and I hate hackers so much >.< They knock me down in ranks and it's no fun when you get matched up again hackers everytime.
