I was vacationing out in the Southwest with my Dad and when we went to Tombstone Arizona we went to boothill graveyard and in the souvenier shop someone was trying to convince the clerk that the World Trade Center attacks were a Mafia Conspiracy. What the fuck is this? I am Italian and researched things about the mafia and as I see it the mafia infact LOVES America. What are some stupid ones you have heard.
That or like many conspiracy theorist they know it, but don't want to believe it because they are delusional. Now I'm not saying all conspiracy theorists are delusional, but some people just look for excuses to say the government is corrupt, some are probably secret anarchist, or members of the anonymous for all I know, but maybe I'm just being a little extreme here. There are some conspiracy theories that sound a little more believable (sadly enough one of them concerns aliens) but this conspiracy is a complete joke. The government did not really have any real use for attacking these country's except maybe a false alarms(weapons of non-existent mass destruction), and terrorism. You can not expect to get oil from a country you invade, unless you implement imperialism on that country, or force it to. Otherwise its a choice of the country itself. Interestingly enough I believe one of the first countries that opened oil trade with Iraq after it became a democracy was China(though I may have to check my facts since its been a while) Honestly I don't know the real purpose we went to Iraq, and I've almost given up on the idea of ever truly finding out. This is mainly because the war is getting close to an end, and the person who started it is out of office. Overall though this is one of those conspiracies that you can't really take seriously. Honestly the "We never landed on the Moon" conspiracy has more ground then this, and even it is unbelievable.
One of my favorites is that a missle hit the pentagon, not a plane, and that the damage done to the pentagon isn't severe enough to be done by a plane.
My dad was lucky actually that he got out of the navy because he worked in the same exact wing of the pentagon that was hit
