i never really cared much for DS games..

It will bring back memories for sure (depending on the person). Though I'm not really into the DS.

All thats left to do is Hoene? region and they redone everythin tho i think emerald is already a "good enough" standard

SICK! I still kind of play pokemon, but not as much, but the Johto ones were my favorites.

If I had a DS I'd be excited, but I haven't bought a pokemon game since leaf green.

It used to be called Dusk Gold and Dawn Silver. They announced it on Pokemon Sundy back in like September. The Changed it to Heart Gole dnad Soul Silver in like February. It isn't very new. If you are a true pokemon fan you would already know about this like 8 months ago.

Wow, at this point, they have killed pokemon. And frankly, why does anyone still care about it? There are better and funner games to play.

other than slight graphics updates and some reskinning and renaming, the poke'mon series has 17 games and no inovation to show for it. At least Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, and Mario (all games with an unprecidented number of sequels) went 3D and have had a few changes since day one. Also, poke'mon is evil. The only thing that would make me buy another poke'mon game is if it was action based instead of turn based. A few friends of mine have actually worked out a combat system silimar to Star Ocean : The Last Hope figured out that we think would be pretty fun. But most companies believe that big a change would alienate the hardcore fanbase, which is really all they have left anymore, so it's doubtful that will ever happen.
