The Hunger Games series is better written than most non-children's books out there. It's all-in-all fantastic - there was a reason the 2nd book in the series, Catching Fire, was named book of the year by Publisher's Weekly for either 08 or 09 - out of *all* books, not just childrens' books. It's well-written and so insanely hard to put down I actually had to have my little sister slam it on my fingers so I could be persuaded to go eat dinner.
I read a little bit of Deltora Quest and hated it i think i could write better than that. Ive never read any of Stephen Kings books are they really that scary?
Drizzt was awesome I read that in 6-7th grade, Eragon's alright drama's getting a little annoying though... I did read the artemis fowl series it's a shame that they're finished. Harry Potter of course was present. The Belgariad and the Malloreon by David and Leah Eddings are amazing...I read them when I was younger, I'm re-reading them now and am amazed at the things I missed.
