Here are my reasons. 1.) People are going to smoke it anyway! Better off making it part of the economy. Plus if it's legal the government can make sure that it's sold in non lethal quantities and qualities.
2.) Marijuana is actually less harmful than alcohol. It's a proven study, look it up.
