Having lost sight of my ally and hearing the sound of arrows striking flesh and the chaos that followed, I did the only thing I thought reasonable and cut my losses. I retreated for the door with all the haste I could muster. With my shield at the ready for any potential conflict I charged for safety.

I inspected my wounds with cautious worry. After deciding that I would not be further damaged by testing the durability of my bindings, I attempted to rip through the sack. (And if I fail this this I plan to rest without sleep. I will regain what energy I can while awaiting my release, ready to act the moment an opportunity arises.)
