Dark Wars: The tales of battles between Light and Dark

This is the Introduction to Darkhess, enjoy.

Dark Wars: Chapter -1 (Darkhess)

These are the times we pray. Not at lunch, nor at battle. But at night. The winter's wrath cloaks the demons that watch our village and search for wanderers finding their way back home. They feed on our souls leaving nothing but an empty horrified carcass. We pray because we know the magic surrounding our homes is fading, and soon we will have no place to hide, or even run. Darkhess, the necromantic black magic is seeping in closer to our lands, and we need someone to save us, and soon.
Herain is the overlord of world, he is the creator of Darkhess, and everything that follows it, and is made of it. He lives in Herhessaintland the capital of the world. To get there is impossible. You would have to go throgh millions of Herainian troops and demons. Not to mention the rogue trolls, and goblins. But we can't give up home, for the dragons are on our side. Un-corrupted by King Tearett himself, the dragons are our loyal companions and warriors of light. But our troops are out numbered 1,000 to 1. We fear time is the only thing we have left until Darkhess swallows us whole.
We, our small village that is, live in Summelight the state of light. We have no capital, but we have evenly distributed populations throughout our lands. Every stranger is a friend, and our ally in combat. Every Summelight knows the art of combat and use of light magic. But the elemental magic only goes through our lines of wizards. But we don't know where to find our wizards for the Peak of Sight was corrupted by Darhess centuries ago. And the wizard's castle can be located anywhere in the vast mountains of Green.
Not all goes well, news has spread that Herain is gathering troops to come and invade our lands, we would be no match to him. And the troop gathering is so large, we aren't sure if it's just a raid. This could be the end to light, forever.

Dark Wars: Chapter 0 (Fate)

The sun lies just above the snow covered mountains of Green. The massive black forest that covers the ground with shade supports the snow from hitting the ground. Thick green grass grows all around down below the twisted branches. Meadows of flowers and flying bee's show that this place can stay alive without the sun. Pitch black, and eery, yet full of life the black forest is. I can't even see my god damn hand in front of my face. Guess I need to use some magic. TorrusHindSight I say to myself. This magic allows me to see in the dark for long periods of time. But it only lasts 3 hours at first. So I need to hunt quickly, anyways the sun is going down, the last thing I want to meet right now is a snow demon. I sit down by an old black oak, and sip some water. I pick up my bow, it's sleek black form blends with the blackness that engulfs me, yet the carvings on the side only glow red when I'm holding the arrow in the string. This gives the arrows fire, which cooks the deer as soon as it hits it. Basically a two in one if you ask me.

I take the bow and sling it over my shoulder, throw on my mask, and squat-walk into the meadow. I have to be careful though, some of these flowers can swallow me whole. I hear some rustling in front of me. The freakishly tall green grass shields the creature from my view. I grab my bow, sheath an arrow and steady it at my side. Pull back the string and hold it down, ready to take down what might be a deer. Mind you, this isn't like your kind of deer, if this is an elk, it will be standing eight feet tall on all fours. If it's a doe it will be seven feet tall. I slowly advance towards the moving grass, making sure I make no sound. I pas through the grass and enter a clearing. I found my target. Standing five feet away, looking right at me, head down and ready to charge. Sadly I had aimed my arrow at the ground to make sure it didn't get tangled in the grass. If I try to raise it, the elk will charge. The elk starts to breath heavy, steam pouring out it's nostrils. Ice starts to form around it's ankles and hooves. Spreading fast in all directions. This is a freaking ice elk?! I see the elk start to tense it's back legs, it's about to charge. I throw myself to the side, diving, arms ahead of me, headed for some brush.

As I traveled through the air, time seemed to slow down, the elk had reached my legs and flailed it's head, I would have been flung if I hadn't moved. His antlers hooked on to my legs, making me spiral through the air I fly right over the brush and land in a big pile of snow. My head is spinning, and I can't feel my right leg. I sit up and look around. I can't see the elk anywhere. Then I realized I'm in snow, the canopy of trees above me must of broke apart. I look up and see a clear, starry night. Wait. It's night time! Crap, that means the demons must be out!

I horrified shriek pierces the silence and the tall grass starts to shake violently. I lower myself in the snow hole that I made because of my fall. And then I felt rain, but when I looked up too see if it was raining, there was no rain. So I looked at my arms, and saw blood. Then I start to hear things falling in the snow. So I peek up out of the hole and I what I saw terrified to me to my bones. I was staring at the head of the elk I just dodged moments ago, it's face locked in a horrified expression. It's mouth has a river of blood dying the snow red. Then I look up and see the last thing I ever wanted to meet.

I like it, but there are a few errors. Most invole forgetting a letter or two. And the big southern kid I am, a male deer is a Buck, not an Elk. An Elk is a moose, I think, but I'm not canadian...

Try to write what's in your head at three in the morning, sugar high off mountain dew, having a friend over and you'd understand, And I'm sorry I will fix the errors this is just a draft. I will be adding more soon hopefully.
