Yeah, why can't I delete comments I accidentally made on my own profile?

I've clicked the trash can and selected "yes" I am sure I want to delete it, yet it does not go away.

I'll look like a loser who talks to himself trying to get lots of AP =P

I've sometimes found that I can't even delete my own comments...

Anyway, it takes awhile to delete sometimes. So just give it some time.
Trash can: The Trash can has been removed because of the optimization. Carlie has said that it will come back afterwords. Pazx here though has found a way to delete comments. I have made the steps:

1. Go to your 'All comments'(That's below the Messenger)
2. From there you should see the trash can symbols next to the posts.
3. It is possible to delete posts from there.

Please note: It may happen that the posts you attempt to delete don't disappear straight away. It may take up to an hour or more before they do, but the fact is they do.
Just delete thec omments you want then go to control panel and go all the way down to update profile. There.

yes, just go to all comments. also if there is a trash bin, but they just won't delete it's ok. it takes awhile for it to render/delete. so don't worry. it is just another ag glitch that will be fixed. most likely.

Guys, remember to read the thread you're considering posting in and ask yourself: Do you really need to repeat something that someone else already said?

No you don't.

And yet you do it anyway, which is why I have this image:
