in case u arent aware, stephen colbert (pronounced: col-bare) and jon stewart both host news/political comedy shows on comedy central (The Colbert Report and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart). i personally prefer colbert as i find myself laughing substantially more while watching his show. i wasnt sure if this should go in world events or not, but since its more comedy than politics i just put it here.
It should actually go in Popular Media, but it's fine.
I like Jon Stewart more. I just find his jokes a lot funnier, along with is delivery. Don't get me wrong, Stephen Colbert is funny, but just not as good in my opinion.
Colbert is hilarious!! He book is probably the funniest book i have ever read. Jon Stewart is better at comedy when there isnt a script but Colbert is better during the show! One of my favorite quotes from Colbert is:
If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it, and it falls on a mime, does anyone care?
Jon occasionally spouts out a few jokes, but you have to really know a lot about politics to understand some of them. Colbert is the same way, but I love his persona a whole lot. Overall, Colbert is funnier. Stewart is more serious.
they are both hilarious. Jon Stewart has real news. Colbert sometimes does.. Colbert tried running for president but they said no. so idk. colbert can be serious. i vote for both ):
