One main reason why you get to choose among only two presidents would be because no company is going to fund a campaign for a socialist or a libertarian. Not even a centrist because they'd probably enforce more regulations than Obama would. If you can get the private sector to stop controlling democracy then third parties will have a chance

Obama had far less money than McCain. But he still won.

Hm, well, that's not what his bills say. I think you got that backwards.

no company is going to fund a campaign for a socialist or a libertarian

A socialist, no, because socialist dislike the free market, but a libertarian? That doesn't make a whole lotta sense to me, seeing as libertarians are essentially capitalists to an extreme. They generally dislike taxes and large government as well. At least the libertarians that are actually following their ideologies >>.>>

And Yokooza, you never did give me any proof :P

You give me proof, which my question can be found on the front page, and I'll actually take you seriously.

Actually, some of them are socialists, but you are correct otherwise. So why won't anyone fund them? All third parties are rejected!

So my hopes at becoming the president are dashed? ;-;

That means that the Totalitarian Anarchist party would be rejected?

One more reason to hate the media, as we all know it's their fault third parties are rejected.

Unless you can personally fund your campaign, which is virtually impossible.

At 17? No, not to mention I can't become president anyway.

With a good source of revenue? Yes, I could probably pull it off.
