That's why it was pointless. If a comment is worthy of a merit it is gonna stand out from the spam anyway and does not need to have enlarged text. It wouldn't help it.
But I liked being able to make it stick out even more =D Maybe it should be sent somewhere though, then it would be a good feature.
I have no idea, but it wouldn't have mattered if it did. It would matter if it was spam clicked and that actually alerted someone rather than just making the font bigger.
