I used the forum search tool found here and I found something about embed stuff from a year ago about videos, but for this topic, it's about playlists.

Some of you may have heard of http://www.playlist.com/ which allows you to pick songs from their website and add it to your own customized playlist that you can switch colors and such. There would be only one section for this and you cannot add videos as that would slow down your browser too much.

Your opinions?

Just what I thought. Why not give everyone a sense of individuality and personality?

It's not a bad idea, I'm just worried that it might take a long time to load. Maybe the loading time could be cut back by not having it auto play, and a limit of songs allowed.

So not a bad idea, but not something I'm very interested in.

Well, I can't see it lagging anything other than AG itself. If flash games don't lag a page, I don't think music will.

However, music isn't exactly a good idea, unless the people on here are mature about it, and don't post foul songs.

And trust me, there are more than enough people who will post foul songs just to be annoying. Unless it's a auto-ban to post said songs.

True. It would ruin the site if everyone posted the song "Birthday Sex" on their profile <.< I mean if people could keep it clean...then sure...but crappy music is, well, crappy.

Hehe. I can imagine that song playing.

Well, this is a flash game website so I don't think there is a great chance that music will be embedded. Like what has been said, indecent songs will be posted, which will ruin this site's PG13 rating.

If you really need music, you can get it from somewhere else.

should be an option to start it so you aren't deaf for 5 seconds... and there's explicit material

Or a set amount of points would be needed to have music. I.e. 3500-4000 AP. Those people are usually easier to track.

That would be good but that would encourage people to spam. Not everyone at that level would not post explicit material.

1. Chances are that spamming your way to 4000 points will get you noticed.

2. No, it wouldn't prevent them, but they would be easier to track. Most people with 4000 points have friends and post on the forums.

How about instead of actually building music into the profile, people just put a link up in their about of a playlist of songs?

People would actually like to embed the playlists in their profile. Maybe putting up links to playlists isn't what they want to do.
