If you look throughout wars humans have become quite efficient at dealing death. The A-bomb and H-bomb were developed to destroy millions of lives. In the future do you think that creating a super killing machine will (in the end) do something as drastic as blow up the earth?

I think the world was predicted to end about four or five different times in 2008. Predictions of the world ending go all the way back to 2,800 BC

I like Thomas Alfa Edison, he is a strong man, i mean in mental not physical. When he failed 10.000 times to make a light-bulb, a reporter ask him, "why you failed so much, i know you don't even graduate from kindergarten" Alfa sais, "I don't fail, I found 10.000 ways not to make light-bulb"
He means that he fails but he has confidence in his own ability that he will succeed one day, please don't say Einstein or Newton or other genius is born genius, genius is forged not born, forget their brain capacity and focus on their all-out work, and they keep on their field until die, even Bill Gates was selling lemonade once, but he has a dream that in the next 50 years each family have one PC, he is wrong, now we don't even know how to live without a PC.
When Edison live long enough until his old age, he once have a speech, all important and respected businessman and scientists, even the US president come to hear him speak and congratulate him, even from abroad. I wonder if his first teacher still alive who said "you are so dumb, you don't even understand why 1+1 = 2, you have no future" is come to Edison speech, will that teacher become crazy and feel like the dumbest person ever life?
Will Edison forgive that teacher? or should he thanks him to 'encourage' him, that he knows 10.000 other ways to prove he is not dumb?

Talking about street smart, I have a friend, he also not graduate from kindergarten, he used to live in my house, but now he has his own airplane company, sriwijayaair.

He has a profil of 3M dollars a month, it should be more, because you can't have a company in Indonesia without giving the local police money, you can't even build a house or make a resident card without giving money. You can even give the police money to kill certain people if you want, money is the king in Indonesia, no wonder now my country so poor.
