happens unintentionally. you stroll around forums and eventually you get into a debate with someone. if the debate was good, add them.

Not necessarily a debate... if you have a conversation or otherwise with somebody, then talk to them on their profile and, mayhaps, add them as a friend.

you just look in the forums or highscores or just you now every where and you will find people to add.

Well, there's that, or just talking to people over the messenger, conversing through threads and such. If you want a friend, just get to know some people.

Generally you'll come across them as you debate, chat, etc. Usually unintentional.

Or you could do it by finding a random profile and adding them. That seems to be the most common method...

Hmmm I guess they talk to you or you find someone intresting in the forum to talk to I guess.

I myself don't have many friends on AG now most of them have left and I can't seem to find new ones >.< It's like AG is a totally diffrent place.

Yeah anyway you find then add to them and talk to them or they do that to you.

I think this belongs in the Newcomer's forum. What I do is add someone who seems like a nice person to talk to, usually with the same interests as me.

Yeah id like to add to what donpiet said...plus also if you just start posting and chatting with people in a post then go to their profile and get to know them better and from that you got a friend...

Have the same intersit as you and enjoy talking to you as you do.

Most of my friends were made from debating. Others are from having common ground, like religion or political preferences. This thread belongs in the Newcomer forum.

You just stumble upon them from comments of games or forums. You just click their link, and on the top-right side you add them.
