-ADDITION 2 (Srry for so many posts in one forum in a row :S but the Squares for Defence should be smaller :P and also units can hide behind wall if built (it acts like a unit and makes the other units attack it unless if something goes infront of it and can be walked around if the unit is smart enough [LOL] ) Take my ideas into suggestion ;P my friend said there pretty awsome
Defense structures like turrets and walls. More units A missle that does mass damage and has a wider range but is REALLY expensive. Unit upgrades. Base upgrades like put a wall around theb ase. A repair thing that lets you repair stuff in your base at a price. A bigger battlefeild.

I don't think that defense structures should be added to colony 1 and a big missle isnt that great of an idea either not many people are fans of missles anyway
How about... an 'Entrench' command, that would make the selected units4x more vulnerable for 1.5 seconds, but increases their range by 175% and their health by 134% while Entrenched.
"AHHH WE'RE UNDER ATTACK GO ENTRENTCH US!" *The crew hops out and digs a hole* *5 minutes later, while being pummeled by enemy fire....* "Hey the hole is 3 feet deep now, and.....1 foot in diameter!" *Marine comes and owns all the Ctanks that are digging holes*

No, I just thought that it would be cool if you had a complex web of trenches, with like a thousand units inside them. Actually, I only had 200 Marines on screen, and it was lagging sooooo bad.

I understand that some people are concerned about hackers in Colony, but sometimes, when i save up a lot of resources to use later, when i begin making units, it tells me i hack, and i get kicked. Maybe we should find a better way to distinguish hackers from non hackers.
The current anti-hacker system works by doing a server-wide check of the resources of each player... If it dips enough into the negative, they are desynched, and sometimes kicked.
Ever since it came out it's been buggy, llike 4 emergency patches came out to attempt to fix it.
Currently, there is a really high threshold, but...if you have a lot of lag, then there could be a disrepancy between your client (yay I have exactly 0 resources) and the server (-150?).
