just put a towel over it, to heat it up, melting the soder over the boards again. thats what my friend did.

make sure u dont try and fix it yourself, if u do it just makes things worst and microsoft will NOT then repair it. The (ring of death) is just a result of the xbox 360 overheating and the souldering inside which hold together the components on the microchip melts which causes the xbox to break :s, just send it to microsoft and they'll fix it for free under the warranty in like 1 week you can even keep track of your xbox online about where exaclty it is, good luck !!

Funny, I just got a RROD after 2-3 years of storing my Xbox in a box, in a corner, not to gently either.

I have no idea... but I think you should try unplug it and turning it off then plugging it back in and that should work.... but you should let it cool off for a couple hours first... hope it helps.... leave me a comment if it does.....

Oh That Ring just scares me... I remember once playing guitar hero in the dark when suddenly it appeared... I thought the X-Box now is DEAD but replugged it and worked :P
