I'm just posting ths to see which of the following bands are better, All That Remains, or Killswitch Engage, please state why you think that band is better, and if you have a favorite song, tell me o.O TY
I Have listened to both bands for a long time and when it comes down to it I think All That Remains has more talent. Definitely my favorite screamo band.

tyler0284, If this had been acouple years back i would be with All That Remains then. But now im going with Killswitch Engage I do agree that All That Remains has better talent, i just like to listen to Killswitch Engage more. Also All That Remains is not a SCREAMO band. There are Metal Core even though they "scream" as some people might put it,also.

Well I'm not a big fan of metalcore to begin with, but I guess I like All That Remains more because they have a more melodic death metal-oriented sound.

But i prefer Killswitch engage not just because they dont scream alot, even tho in some songs they do, i choose Killswitch engage over All That Remains for the lyrics, if you listen to them clearly and understand them it makes any song better, and Veobahamut, i consider them both to be a screamo band, even if you dont =]] and ty for the opinion =]]

So your saying 2 bands that have been established as metalcore and sound more metal than emo you still call them screamo?
No. I dont call them screamo bands. They are metalcore. I consider them to be screamo, Even though they are infact METALCORE i dont like any band considered emo. Especially not ATR or KSE. Ty once more for a comment =]]

So you are saying being an idiot on purpose? You KNOW they are Metalcore but you call them Screamo? WHERE'S THE LOGIC IN THAT!?! Screamo is like Funeral Diner, Anomie , Circle Takes the Square, blessthefall and although they do have similarities to Metalcore, they are very distinct styles.
I know that sounds realy confusing, but its just my way of how i do things. I'm sorry for the confusion and i will try to be more clear on future posts.
