pc has far superiour graphics and hardware compared with ps3. however the price is also higher. the variety of games is higher and it lasts longer than a typical console
Wow, there are way more games for consoles than PCs. Howc an you say that? And I don't consider those crappy MMO things like Dofus a game. Those are just... horrible. Any console VS PC would win(except Wii).

the videoram in consoles is 256mb while fast pcs have 1000 mb, a hd grass texture takes ca 3mb so it doesnt take much to fill the ps3 ram. if you compare gta 4 on pc vs console youll notice that pc has far better graphics. most console games come out for both platform anyway and pc has waaay better online gaming
pc all the way upgradeable customizable and most games are available and more like WoW and other games also a pc can have way more value like a alienware flagship is way better than a ps3 but ps3 does have its ups like blue ray but still pc takes it no contest
Both different in some aspects. It depends if you call the PC a 'console'.
Obviously PC rules in the graphics section. PC's always have better graphics, better than 360 and the PS3. (Seeing as they actually calculate the graphics instead of just raw)
Gameplay wise, most of the games that exist on the PS3 and 360 do get ported over to the PC. But obviously PC's take the MMO and FPS award when it comes to gameplay. (oh, and RTS)
As for prices. They're reasonably the same if not slightly less.
