That's why I don't have an Xbox 360. If i were you I would have just boughten a new one.

errrmmm........... i hate to say this but ive had my 360 for 3 years now (more or less) and its only broke once while my wii, has broke 4 time and my ps3 hasn't broke yet . my point is that the xbox is a super console and it just depends what time you get your games consolethe amount of times it breaks

The first time the red ring happened, it happened on the day the warranty ran out? Ironic? Scam? I don't know....

I have just gotten an xbox360 for Christmas and already got the 3 red rings (red ring of death) Some times it affects your xbox and some times it doesnt. I un pluged my xbox and turned it back on and it worked this may work for you or not

This is the reason why I have a PS3. It doesn't do anything like the stuff you mentioned.

Just get a PS3

Xbox 360 is a great console i have had it for 3 years with the red ring of death once but thats only due to my brother knocking it off the shelf it was on which caused internal hardware problems. When it has an overheating problem u just wait for it to cool off... u dont send it into xbox... and there are ways to fix the red ring of death.. look it up on youtube they work i did it on my friends console.. when i had the red ring of death they game me a free month of xbox live and it was returned to me in 2 weeks.. i was probably a lucky one but im not sure if they give the live cards out anymore
