i HATE SNIPER RIFLES, they are for cheaters and lazy people. give me the good old SMG.

Yeah they are. The thread title is confusing.

Anyway, in video games I prefer automatic/semi-automatic weapons because...

1. Snipers are used unfairly and unrealistically.

2. I prefer the thrill of actually engaging in combat with you foe, instead of picking him/her off with a single shot.

3. I generally prefer assault rifles.
