I have a bit of a situation and I need your help. I currently have a ps3 but it's broken so I can't use it online. Now I don't know whether I should sell my ps3 for whatever I can get and buy a new one or if I should hold on to my ps3 and buy something else like an xbox360. Now remember, I like my ps3 and I have games and accessories for it but I don't want something that is going to break again.
you should of got a 80g ps3 because they give you 1 year to bring it back for any reason, two of mine broke and after the second one i just got my money back and got a new one, now every thing is fine now!
with each console you will encounter problems everynow and then but both sony and microsoft products are decent and if you like the console and have already got games and accessories why change? how old is your ps3, did you get insurance and have you tried fix the problem yourself?
It's around a year old. I didn't get insurance on it but I am going to get it on whatever I get next, and no I haven't tried to fix it because I will just make it worse.
There has been a lot of PS3s reported broken. Apparently the heads go in them a lot, can cause disk read errors.
I'd just wait if you want to get a PS3, there's been a lot of rumours about a new version of the PS3 coming out, possibly the PS3 slim! I'm excited to see whether or not that will come out.
Did you checked the internet connection, where the socket is? maybe the socket isn't good, or the cable... I don't know about you, but I think that PS3 is alot better then Xbox 360.
