yea so it randomly came to what if you build something so fast you drove it out of space because as far as I know space isn`t infinite so if you got out of the universe what would it be like would you just fall for ever or be just floating in whiteness.

Anyone understand what Im saying

Yeah Night that was crazy I had no Idea anything was faster than light, I don't really know what I believe cause their is the big rip, big bang, big freeze, ect. Their are so many so I dont know, all I know is that were here now and thats all that matters.

Thank you.

If you read too much, (unless you can understand) you will be confused.

That's why I don't really delve to deeply into that.

I can safely say that you can't be sure about that.

There are a few theories on the Universe.

One, that it is flat and ever expanding, and since it is flat, will go on forever.

Two, it curves slightly, so when it expands, it'll come around on itself eventually. Crunch.

Three, it just sits there.

Four, it's in decline.

Five, is part of a looooong row of universes, that expand, then collapses, then expand, then collapses, then...
Six, it acts like an elastic band. Expands, then snaps back.
Seven, it is a hologram.
Eight, it is... The Matrix.

Anyway. As far as I know, the universe have limits, and seeing how planets and galaxies and all acts, I would probably say there are a bunch of those universes in a little group, and then far away, there is another group of universes, and all that.
What the universes are part of, well... We can only guess.

Nine, it's all a dream. Except, no little red pills.

I've always been told that if you put a huge lightulb on the back of your head and looked forward with a giant/powerful telescope you could (hypothetically) see the back of your head. If you went out in a spaceship I think you would (eventually) just come back to where you started.

I have a question. When you are going the speed of light, does it really look like the stars are passing you like in knight_34's link?

Man thats a DEEP Question...Well im not sure...but i believe space or universe is ever expanding meaning its still expanding and will never stop....even if u manage to build something that fast..1st- it will take forever to reach the end if there is one 2nd- what material will be able to survive something that fast 3rd- most likely ALIENS will shoot you down before you make it...there so its IMPOSSIBLE to find out whats lies beyond THE UNIVERSE....

I doubt if it is even possible to create such a machine, and if they did that you would survive what happens to your body in the process, so you can't really answer.

It's kinda amazing to think it all started from one tiny little particle....

Big Bang!

"If you are in a spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the headlights, does anything happen?"

When you are going the speed of light, does it really look like the stars are passing you like in knight_34's link?

I think it may just be a popular ploy in sci-fi shows/movies to sho a ship is going very fast but irl I'm not sure. I do know that if you were going the speed of light and looked behinf you you wouldn't see anything becasue they light wouldn't reach your eyes.
