WELCOME TO ARMOR GAMES! First, you've registered your account, put in your user name, your e-mail and password, all the stuff that makes up your account. Now your new and want some Armor Points, or maybe you just want to play the great games on this great site. I'll help you out on this little "blog" of mine.
Armor Points So you now have your account. Did you write down your info so you don't lose it? Anyway to see your current Armor Points click your user name next to your possibly-blank Armatar. You will see your points and how many games you've rated or commented on, how many forum posts you have made, the number of games you submitted, if any, and your merits. Merits are awards for posting helpful or good things on the forums. Now, if you want to change your armatar, go to your control panel. ( It's right next to your user name, top right-hand corner of your screen.) You'll see your profile page. Just go to the top right-hand corner of that page and click on the "Armatar" button. Depending on how many points you have you can have different Armatars, so take your pick. After doing so click the Update Armatar button at the bottom of the page. You can also see your favorite games and your friends. To add a game to your Faves go to the game and at the top right-hand corner of the page you'll find an add to faves button. ( It's a heart.) Get Some Points! To get points you can rate or comment on a game, post on the forum, submit a game, or get a merit from your forum post. To rate a game find the bar under the game and click the number (1-10) of how much you liked the game. <Note: you can't change the rate after you rate it.> To leave a comment just click in the Quick Feedback box. Type away and click submit! Forum posts are easy, just post something. <Note: do NOT just post for points. Post for a reason!> To submit a game, see the submitting a game part or the help page. ( Right next to the --Game Quick Jump-- pull-down menu. Finally, to get a merit, post helpful or good things on the forum. Play the Games! Now pick one of the catagories of games, click it, click a game, and start playing! -----Helpful: see the help page for more specific help.-----
I will facepalm at this. The newcomer's section is full of these, and that is where this should be too. There is actually a stickied one, if I remember correctly, so this is not needed, especially not a so flat one.
It's nice of you to make this, but well it's not really the best one out there. It's in the wrong section, and there are plenty of other guides that go much more in depth.
