i herd you hafta plug in a wire thingy to a wireless router and your xbox but is there a way to plug in a wireless adapter or something into my xbox because i pick up the internet from my moms computer and theres no way she would let me do it
yea it depend where you live. here in england we can buy a little ariel for the xbox from argos. its pretty much the same as the ariel i needed for my pc but specifcally for the xbox or the alternative is using ethernet, it kind of looks like a phone cable but it has bigger ends and they are yellow... hope i've helped.
XBOX Live is a waste of money and is stupid, PS3 has free online internet and WEB surfing.
Strange, I must have missed the small print that tells you when you buy a PS3 an ISP will give you free internet. Browsing the web on a PS3 with a controller is just a little less painful then having teeth pulled with no anaesthetic.

anyways ya, you could actually use the wireless router microsoft made for the 360... but you could ALSO use the one they made for the original xbox which is a lot cheaper!
You have to look up on youtube how to hook it up and stuff, it's a bit different from the 360 one, still works though. but either way you need an ethernet chord, but for the wireless thing you can hook it up by your computer instead of on the 360
